The Week After
The message was simple: Xarelto® offers effective, convenient prevention against potentially fatal blood clots after hip or knee replacement surgery. So, how can we reach surgeons through something more engaging than a sales aid and a sales rep visit? We created an online, interactive experience around John – a fictional patient who develops a serious blood clot after undergoing hip replacement surgery. We put the player in control as they travel back in time with the chance to help John. Using live-action footage and interactive challenges, we challenged surgeons to consider their choices and its impact. Using gaming elements, such as challenge ratings, a progress bar and a final score, we made them compete and replay the game. We reinforce the benefits of Xarelto® through an experience far more exciting than the average sales rep visit.
